	Darlene Muzatko has been teaching for more years than she wants to admit. She teaches the young to the young at heart with patience and kindness. Darlene uses a variety of methods, teaching her students to read music, chords and theory. Her fun and lively technique keeps her quite busy with a perennial waiting list. She is definitely worth the wait! Darlene truly cares about each and every student. The time invested prior to the lessons, focusing on what the student wants to achieve and personality is unequaled. Tip for the week: Brass Players; If you are not comfortable cleaning the whole trumpet, snake out the leadpipe and main tuning slide with soap and water and a cleaning snake about once a week. Grease and re-insert the slide. Drop a few drops of valve oil down the lead pipe. Put your mouthpiece on and BLOW! This will help keep "crud" from adhearing to the bore and causing expensive problems down the road.
